the change is in the fact that people have now learned how to be honest and to speak truth about their own sin and failings; that people now understand that we need to repent of our own sin and failings so that we might truly be restored, sanctified and pure in the Lord's sight and in the eyes of man; that people understand that the way to see the Church and to see the Lord is through the eyes of His Son (Jesus Christ), rather than through the eyes of man (which is man's own sin); and that we have come to realize that the Church is His Church, and He has not given up on us, but He has given His own precious Son to help us, to forgive our sin and to purify our hearts; that people have now learned what repentance is, and why they must repent; that they have now realized that their righteousness must be in Christ alone, and not in themselves; that people have learned what the Holy Spirit is, and the works that the Holy Spirit does in our hearts; that people now realize that the only way to be born again is through the shed blood of Christ Jesus; and that people now understand the Gospel message, which is the way that God has provided for man to be saved from sin and restored to righteousness in His sight.
