Explanation: before i talk about my life experiences , i will start by what i think is religious war. basically if you are talking about religious war within itself, then i will give you christianity as an example. in christianity the religious war consists of three parts.

  1. war against the world and other religions
  2. war against the devil and sin
  3. war against self

we war against the world because when we become christians we are no longer part of the world. yes we are in it but not OF it. so we have different ideas about what is right and wrong and this causes conflict. we war against sin because of our conversion... conversion means a 180 degree change in actions, and so we fight against sin to avoid doing it, which leads to the third point. we war against ourselves because by nature we are sinners and so we WANT to continue in our sins and evil deeds. to be in the battle of faith means to actively have these struggles and batlle against our evil desires, and intentions.
