Aquatic Flowers - these are flowering plants that live and pollinate in a water  environment. They are also called " Aquatic Macrophytes".

There are 3 ways that they can grow in a body of water: submerged, float, or nearby.

Explanation:

A. Water Lilys

Characteristics:

-Stem-it is called "Petioles", this is connected to the floating

circular leaves until to the roots.

-Roots- it is called  "Rhizomes", it is known to hold and keep

nutrients.

-Leaves-it produces thick green leaves which are called as the

"Lily Pads" also floats in the water together with its flower.

-Flower- it has a fragrant smell, white in color, showy, and even

aromatic

B. Water Hyacinth

Characteristics:

-Stem -it is also called as "Petioles", with air-filled tissues

that makes the flower floats in the water.

-Roots - it has a fibrous and hairy type root that stays

and submerged underwater.

-Leaves -the leaves were able to float because the base is set

above the water and it has "buoyant bulb-like nodules" which is

around 4-8 inches big.

-Flower- it has a thick texture, glossy, and can stand above the water

up to 1 meter or 3 feet in height.

1. Common between the 2 plants is they belong both

in a classification of "Aquatic Plants".

2. Common in Plant A and Plant B. they are both "Flowering Plants with floating leaves"
