REPOST I DIDN'T GET ANSWER

B. Read and solve the problem.

1. A dressmaker wants to make a handkerchief. She has a cloth with a length of 30 cm and 48 cm long. She cuts them into equal lengths. What is the greatest possible length of each cloth? How many handkerchiefs can she make?

2. Shane has 4 different colors of pens. It is composed of 8 purples, 16 yellows, 24 blues and 32 pinks. She wants to give it to her cousins. What is the highest possible number of her cousins? What are the color combinations of pens for each of them? How many pens will they receive?

Sagot :

1.40 pieces of minute handkerchiefs  6cm x 6cm

A handkerchief is usually a square. Since the smallest side is 30 cm, there can only be 1 handkerchief she can make. 30cm x 30 cm. 30 cms is only 1 foot. this is maybe why nobody wants to answer the question. it would be a different matter if it were 30 inches x 48 inches. if this is the case, then we can probably make 40 very tiny 6inch by 6inch handkerchiefs.

30 inches x 48 inches =5 x 8 = 40 pieces

     6                  6

2.2.8 cousins, they will recieve 10 pens each 1 purple,2yellow,3blue and 4 pinks

im bad at explaining when it comes to math but i hope it helps
