1. Indonesian literature, is a term grouping various genres of South-East Asian literature. Indonesian Literature can refer to literature produced in the Indonesian archipelago. It is also used to refer to the broader literature produced in areas with common language roots based on the Malay language (which Indonesia is a scion). This will expand the reach Maritime Southeast Asia (including Indonesia, but also in other countries with common languages such as Malaysia and Brunei, as well as populations in other countries such as Malay people living in Singapore.
