Teenagers shouldn't let these "voices" or social media influencers influence them regardless wether they're right or wrong. The way a person act or decide on something should be based on her religious beliefs and practices which her family instilled in her. Generally, We Filipinos are traditionally religious. We have conservative values which lately are missing with most social media influencers. For example, the way some of these influencers dress. The use less clothes to gain more attention which is obviously not applicable for a regular teenager who roams the street. It will only get them trouble. While some influencers are older and more responsible and knows better than to conform with westernized practices which are too bold some thinks it's cool and acceptable. They use swear words as an expression and the young and impressionable Filipinos will think it's ok. There are lots of other examples we can site in which social media influencers has a huge impact on young people but the point is if you let them influence you, you let your own personality and values go. People learn things through experience along the way but the best way to learn is listen to our parents and our religious beliefs.
