This war caused millions of lives including our country. 250,000 Filipino soldiers joined forces Americans during this Great War. Some have survived but many lost their lives for their country. The Philippines suffered a great loss of life and tremendous physical destruction. Around 1 million Filipinos have been killed and the capital of the Philippines, Manila, is severely damaged.

The images shows Ifugao children from 1906 are being taught to learn English Language. People were taught how to learn English during this era because we were still colonized by Americans during this time and for them to understand the language of people from Ifugao. Citizens from that place should learn English language

Image shows people bartering their goods with foods, clothes or gold. Barter trade has a long tradition in our country even before Ferdinand Magellan came into our country. When the Spanish came around 1521 they introduced to us coins. Barter is the only way of trade for people of the Philippines to survive.
