C. ECONOMY. The barter system is used as the system of trading goods. Agriculture and livestock raising is the source of living.




D. SYSTEM OF WRITING. Baybayin, kulitan, Mangyan script, tagbanwa, basahan and others is the system of writing. Ancient scripts are written in potteries, leaves, woods, bamboo and others.


E. TRANSPORATION
Sea vessels are the means of transportation such as the balangay, vinta and karakoa.



F. CLOTHING & BODY ORNAMENTS
Clothing depicts their social status. Patadyong, putong, pants, sleeveless shirt with an opening are some of their clothing. Their body is heavily adorned with jewels made of pure gold.


G. RELIGION
Early Filipinos worship the souls of their ancestors in the trees, mountain, river and rocks. Their religion is polytheistic in nature where they worship several gods, goddesses and deities.
