What is Law of Acceleration

Sagot :

The acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force acting on it and is inversely proportional to it's mass.
Newton's second law states that if a net force acts on an object, it will accelerate in the direction of that net force. The acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the force applied on it; that is, a small amount of force will cause a small acceleration. Furthermore, the acceleration of an object is inversely proportional to its mass; that is, a big object will have a small acceleration and a small object will have a large acceleration, given that the same amount of force is applied. That is summarized in the following equation:

                                       [tex]F_{net} = ma[/tex]

where [tex]F_{net} [/tex] is the net force applied on an object, m is its mass and a is its acceleration.
