Sagot :
I am not sure if it will be good to use internet searching engines but I suggest using them.
The processes of inspiration (breathing in) and expiration (breathing out) are vital for providing oxygen to tissues and removing carbon dioxide from the body. Inspiration occurs via active contraction of muscles – such as the diaphragm – whereas expiration tends to be passive, unless it is forced.
In this article, we shall look at the physiology of ventilation – the process of inspiration and expiration, how this differs between quiet and forced breathing, and their clinical correlations.
I found this on the web.
Answer:
Inhaling (Inspiration Mechanism)
The gases or the air outside will travel into the lungs and expands. The muscles between the ribs contracts/pulls upwards and our Diagphragm contracts and moves downwards. Intrapulmonary Pressure drops/decreases while the Intrapulmonary Volume inside our lungs increases/expands.
Exhaling (Expiration Mechanism)
As we breathe out the air, our chest contracts/decreases. The Intercostal muscle and the Diaphragm Muscle will relax. The diaphragm moves up, and relaxes back to its original place. Intrapulmonary Volume decreases while Intrapulmonary Pressure increases. And finally the gases will move out from the lungs to the air.
Explanation:
Hope my explanation about the Expiration and Inspiration Breathing Mechanism makes sense and helped u
