It's not that you are turning right but that you are staying in place as the car turns left, giving an illusion of turning right in your frame of reference. This is due to Newton's first law of motion where it is implied that an object's state of motion will not be changed unless acted upon by an external force. To put it simply, objects refuse to move when at rest or stop when at motion unless acted upon by a significant external force.
In this case, as the car turns right, your body refuses to go with it and you stay. This is called inertia.
