The future is one of those tantalising unkowns, so it would be really appealing to pop forward a decade or so to see how things have worked out. Assuming of course you dont then automatically "catch up" on the decades you missed & are still the age you are now. Would be most unfortunate though to find out its all gone horribly wrong because something changed in your past & the thing that changed was you disapearing from the present & going to the future. Of course, if you couldnt go back, the ones you left behind are likely to be lost to you forever.
