If you're going to ask me, I think that as a college student, mathematics is important for our daily lives. Simply because you can find yourself in different situations where mathematics is needed in order to find the solution. I also think that knowing the 4 basic operations is enough but because most jobs these days requires complex mathematics, We still need to learn these.
