Write your own life story using the stages of psychosocial development as a framework. Go through each of the stages that apply to you (most probably stages 1-5 or 6). Ask for information from your parents and other significant persons in your life. Look at old baby books and photo albums. Also, include the results of your questionnaire in the activity section. Write a narrative for each stage.

You may choose to have this project in PowerPoint slides or scrapbook-style printouts. For every psychosocial stage include pictures of yourself and significant persons in your life. Discuss your psychosocial development using Erikson’s theory. Consider the crisis, maladaptation/malignancies, and the virtues.

Sagot :

Psychosocial development involves changes not only in children's overt behavior but also in their social cognition. For example, they become able to take the perspective of others and to understand that other people's behavior is based on their knowledge and desires.
