1. Folk dances are culture in-action. We need to study and learn folk dances because it is the way of preserving our culture and a way of passing the tradition from one generation to another. Being able to learn how a folk dance is danced the way it must be is an obvious indication that a culture still lives on.

2. yes BECAUSE I wanna improve my dancing skills

and I want to make my parents proud I also wanna be in the national dancing competition

if I can join I would definitely! and I would practice everyday.
