As what i know Daedalus, the father of Icarus who made their wings in order to escape warn his son not fly too high or too low for if he will fly too high the wax use to hold together their wings will melt because of the heat of the sun . But, Icarus being amaze by what he can do with his wings he fly too high and thus the wax melt and unfortunately he did not make it.
