The as stated earlier, the main function of the heart in a human's body is to circulate blood throughout the whole body. This circulation have two pathways, the pulmonary circuit and the systemic circuit.
Comparison of Mechanical Pump and Heart
The heart pumps blood and circulate it throughout the body through our veins, while mechanical pump pumps the fluid from low pressure area to a higher pressure area and delivers this fluid to the pump outlet. Both mechanical pump and heart works continuously.
