The personal challenge he had to overcome is his fear of
turning into a cold and lifeless stone if he ever fails to succeed in his
adventure. He also fear as to what will happen to his mother if he will fail.
Another personal challenge he needs to overcome is his feet getting tired
walking, that's why he has to secure his flying cap to be able to journey
marvelously.
