1.Ocean water:
are salty and contain minerals and dissolved gases. They also have a high heat capacity and vary in density depending on temperature and salinity.
2.Lakes:
are not a uniform mass of water; in fact, they are extremely non-uniform and complex systems. The actual physical properties of a lake, such as its depth, shape and water temperature, add to this complexity through factors such as sedimentation and water circulation.
3.River:
is a ribbon-like body of water that flows downhill from the force of gravity. A river can be wide and deep, or shallow enough for a person to wade across. A flowing body of water that is smaller than a river is called a stream, creek, or brook.
