Argentina is a long country stretching from the subtropics along the northeastern border with Brazil to the subpolar regions of Tierra del Fuego in the south. The western edge of the country runs along the Andean Mountains.Because Argentina spans over a wide range of latitudes, it posses a wide variety ofclimatic regions ranging from tropical in the north to subpolar in the far continental south. Mean annual temperatures range from 5 °C (41.0 °F) in the far south to 25 °C (77.0 °F) in the north.
