Beginning of a time-warp with strange digital effects like slow-motion and stop-motion. Unfortunately, the graphics do not match what was meant to be a grounded, eye-opening account of the couple's challenges, which should have easily been relatable to a wide range of citizens. Worse, following the original slew of VFX-infused scenes, they were never used again - it's as if the first 20 minutes of the film was from a whole different movie.
