I think, it is because, the Philippines is part of the are called the Pacific Ring of Fire. That area is surrounded by lots of volcanoes. It also means, that in the Philippines, it is obvious that we have many volcanoes. We are surrounded by volcanic activities which causes earthquakes. Another reason is that, our country has faults. This faults can trigger earthquakes.
I think because we are in the pacific ring of fire.
