When I was first assigned senior project, I was not looking forward to it at all. The thought of writing a bunch of essays and doing all this hard work did not sound like fun. More than anything, it made me nervous to have to get up in front of the class and present. I have heard many times that senior project is really hard, and many other times I have heard that it is easy but requires a lot of work. I chose cake decorating as my topic because I knew it was a topic I was looking at going into career wise. I also chose it because I knew it would be something that I would enjoy researching and working on since I have been interested in it ever since I was a little girl. The reason I chose the design I did for my product is because it was my design, and I didn’t look at other designs for inspiration. I knew the design would be challenging since it would be the first time I had even constructed a cake like that.
