For me Community service is the volunteer work done by a group or a person of people benefits others. It is often done near the area where you live, so your own community reaps the benefits of your work. People don't get paid in performing Community service, but sometimes they give you food or small hifts/items, like t-shirts
Community service is unpaid work performed by a person or group of people for the benefit and betterment of their community without any form of compensation. Community service can be distinct from volunteering, since it is not always performed on a voluntary basis and may be compulsory per situation.
