WHAT IS QUARANTINE?

Lately, we've been hearing the word "quarantine", on the news, at school, in our barangays -- it's everywhere! Quarantine essentially refers to the isolation of people or animals to protect them or their peers from a disease/illness. Similarly in the world's current situation, we are told by our country leaders to stay in quarantine (stay inside at home as to not catch or spread COVID).

WHAT CAN WE DO?

With the myriad time we have because of quarantine, we can utilize it to work on ourselves and our family.

  • Stretch and yoga! I've personally made it a goal to get my splits this year, so I can use this time to create a stretching routine and follow it on a daily basis! This is good since I can have something to look forward to each day.

  • Bond with family! Staying at home with nothing to do is bound to bore everyone out of their heads! I can take spend time with my family and have fun. My family decided to watch a movie or an episode of a show we all like every night.

  • Journaling and art! Now is the best time to practice my artistic skills (or lack thereof). I can do this as a hobby and something to spend the rest of the day with.
