A good way to summarize a story is to have the characters setting, important events, and details from the plot, in order. Include what the author put in the story. You are not supposed to write your opinions, and do not leave a cliff hanger ending. In 2-3 sentences explain what happens in the beginning of the story or what leads to the conflict. Explain the conflict of the story, and explain how the conflict was resolved or the resolution.
