A concept paper is a brief paper outlining the key aspects of a study before undertaking the study. It is meant to provide an idea of the study. Also, concept papers usually serve purpose of providing detailed and comprehensive discussion of a chosen topic that the researcher, writer, or the organization has a strong position on. Concept papers act as proposals and it allows opportunity to explain research focus as well as obtain early feedback.
