Problem:
If a gas molecules were confined inside a car tire, what would happen to the tire if pressure is high at a higher temperature?
When temperature increases inside the tire, the gas molecule will to increased its kinetic energy resulting to higher pressure inside the tire since the molecule will bump the wall of the tire more frequently since they increased their movement. When the tire could withstand the pressure, the tire will explode which is common during summer vacation as we travel with long distance while the road is quite hot.
This can be best explain in Gay-Lussac Law and combined gas law. Gay-Lussac's law states that when temperature increases, the pressure of the gas molecule will also increased.
