Sagot :
Answer:
This is not justice, and merely points to the growing distrust that has fomented between the people and law enforcement
In the last few weeks, two men accused of rape have been found dead with notes which identified them as being involved with the crime.
Incidents such as these highlight how frustrated the people have become with the legal system, seeing it fit to take the law into their own hands to ensure that some form of justice is served.
But this is not justice, and merely points to the growing distrust that has fomented between the people and law enforcement agencies.
This is especially true for cases of rape.
If we were to ignore the large number of incidents of rape and sexual abuse which went unreported, according to a UN study, only 5% of those actually charged faced any sort of legal consequences for their actions.

There’s a reason that the judiciary exists, to serve justice in a fair and impartial manner, and we cannot have people taking matters into their own hands.
It is up to the law enforcement agencies to earn back the trust that they have lost by ensuring that justice remains their number one priority. Rape is the most heinous of crimes, and the fact that so many of those involved in the crime get away scot-free is a tragedy unto itself.
In this day and age, no woman should feel unsafe, and it is up to the police to work towards instilling that confidence in the people of this country.
We need to work towards moving away from this culture of sexual violence and ensure that cases such as these become a thing of the past.
