because amid the pandemic they still decide to go to work to keep the society working because with out medical helpers the virus will be uncontainable, without the military or the police people who are hardheaded would roam the streets regardless of the pandemic . they go out there every day despite the risk of being in harms way to help people and that is the exact definition of a hero so technically they are one
