I think names should not be the basis of giving love and respect because There are exceptions to the rule; sacrificing yourself for the greater good is a pretty safe bet to gain widespread appeal. However, often times someone who has all the virtues in life can just as easily be regarded with envy as they can respect. Personally, the people I respect most are writers who have given me a unique perspective in life that I otherwise would never have had. I think they deserve my respect because of what they've given me, and not as much can be said for most modern day public figures.
