Mother asks you to buy 3 liters of milk in a grocery store.
Only milk in bottles of 500 mL is available in the grocery.
What will you do? How many bottles will you buy?

Sagot :

We just need to divide.
[tex] \frac{3L}{500ml} = \frac{3000ml}{500ml} =6[/tex]

So you should buy 6 bottles.
Conversion:
1 L=1,000 ml

Convert:
[tex]3 L(\frac{1,000 ml}{1 L})=3,000 ml[/tex]

To find how many of bottles you need to buy, divide:
3,000 ml divided by 500 ml=6 bottles

Hope this helps =)
