It's not really that imporatant for them to remain identical since a book has so many pages and the longest running time of a movie runs for like two and a half hours give or take. Although, the movie may seem less thrilling than the book, or it can also be the other way around. It's not imporatant because, we do, after all live in a free country. Creativity is free to be shown.
