The cause was to stop Ferdinand Marcos from being president due to his abuse of his position. He created martial law so he can have an extension as a president. The filipinos were mad due to the curfews and that he saw everything happening in our country. So we fought for what was right to stop him from being president. To show others Marcos was not a good leader. We wanted to encourage and empower.
