How to solve and graph this, 3x-y=3 and 2x+y=2

Sagot :

[tex]3x-y=3 \\2x+y=2\\\\y=3x-3\\y=-2x+2[/tex]

3x-y=3
2x+y=2

To solve this, use one method which is elimination. To eliminate, add or subtract(I prefer add) the 2 equations
5x=5
Divide both sides by 5
x=1

After you find the value of a number, substitute.
2x+y=2
2+y=2
y=0

Now, to graph this, we can use methods like intercept form
3x-y=3
x=0; y=0
y=-3; x=1
Coordinates of first equation:(0,-3)(1,0)
These are coordinates, just make a line crossing these points

The second equation
2x+y=2
x=0; y=0
y=2; x=1
coordinates of 2nd equation: (0,2)(1,0)
Just connect a line between these 2 points.

Hope this helps =)
