Polynomials literally means "many terms, for poly means "many" and nomials means "terms" . There kinds of polynomials are the monomials which has one term (e.g. 2b, [tex] x^{2} [/tex] etc.) the binomials with two terms (e.g. 2b+1, [tex] x^{2} -4[/tex] etc.) trinomials with three terms (e.g. [tex] x^{2} +5x+6[/tex],[tex]2 x^{2} -4x+10[/tex] etc.) and the last polynomials with many terms (e.g. [tex]27 x^{3} +18 x^{2} +9x+1[/tex] etc)
