how to change the quadratic equation into standard form
1.3x-2x²=7
2.5x-2x²=6x
3.(x+3)(x+4)=0
4.(2x+7)(0-1)=0
5.2x(x-3)=15
6.(x+7)(x+7)=-3x
7.(x-4)²+8=0
8.(x+2)²=3(x+2)
9.(2x-1)²=(x+1)
10.2x(x+4)=(x-3)(x-3)

PLEASE HELP!! I NEED BECAUSE THIS IS A ASSINGMENT
thanks

Sagot :

Use the formula:
[tex]y=a x^{2} +bx+c[/tex]

[tex]a x^{2} [/tex] (quadratic term)
[tex]bx[/tex] (linear term)
[tex]c[/tex] (constant)

Ex.
[tex]3x-2 x^{2} =7[/tex]

[tex]-2 x^{2} +3x=7[/tex] or [tex]-1(-2 x^{2} +3x = 7)[/tex] -> [tex]2 x^{2} -3x=-7[/tex]

Just do the same thing to the other equations. But before you change it to standard form remember to simplify it. Good luck :)
Click "thanks" if I helped. It'll be appreciated. :)

the standard form of quadratic equation is ax^2 + bx + c = 0
where a, b and c are constant values.
example:
[tex] 2x^{2}+5x+3=0 [/tex]
In this one a=2b=5 and c=3

so in no. 1. [tex]3x-2 x^{2} =7[/tex]
Answer:
[tex]1.2 x^{2} -3x+7=0[/tex]

so your answer should be in this form:
[tex]a x^{2} +bx+c=0[/tex]
