Mammal- have hair or fur; are warm blooded;most are born alive; the young are fed milk produced by the mother's mammary glands; and they have a more complex brain than the other animals.
Reptiles- all reptiles have a backbone, which means they are vertebrates. All reptiles produce eggs. Most reptiles lay hardshelled eggs, but a few give birth to live young.
Amphibians- united by several unique traits. They typically have a moist skin aand rely heavily on cutaneous (skin-surface) respiration. They possess a double-channeled hearing system, green rods in their retinas to discriminate hues, and pedicillate (two-part) teeth.
Fish- a typical fish is ectothermic, has a streamlined body for rapid swimming, extracts oxygen from water using hills or use accessory breathing organ to breathe atmospheric oxygen, has two sets of paired fins, usually one or two (rarely three) dorsal fins, an anal fin, and a tail fin, has jaws, has skin.
Birds- feathers are defining characteristic of Aves, found on every living species of bird and no other class of animal. Soft, fluffy downy feathers help keep birds warm, contour feathers stremline birds' bodies and aid in flyng, and flight feathers on wings and tail give the bird loft.
