(History majors said he is the national hero because he fights Spanish Colonization using his linguistic, literature, and writing skills. He's very smart 'cause he knows how to speak many languages and he decides very carefully for the sake of the country.)

Dr. Jose Rial was a hero because he tried to wake us up from the cruelty of the Spaniards. He tried to spread the news about what the Spaniards are really doing while we are in fear of them, because at the past, we lost the battle with the Spaniards. He also sacrificed his whole life just to wake us up from the bad deeds.
