We should stop idolizing normal people and objects. We should start praising and worshipping God since he is the one that created us. He gave us the meaning of life so we need to be good role models and start doing good. Imagine the anger he feels when we worship people and objects. When I was younger I used to worship other people now I realized that it's wrong.

The Bible tells us to avoid idolatry, that is to avoid worshiping idols which are stated in the first commandment.

"Thou shalt have no other gods before me." (Exodus 20:3)

God alone is worthy to be worship because He is our Creator. We may not aware, but these things surround us, the things we value so much serve as idols and we are unconsciously driven.
