Why does the amount of heat receive by places far from the equator becomes less?
- Places near the equator receive more heat from the sun than the far latitudes. The fact is that the ITCZ or Intertropical Convergence Area gives the places near the equator more heat because they are directly from the sun rays, and then, naturally, heat moves to where heat is higher and more clouds arise in the places near the equator.
- Since, aside from being the closest, Ecuador is the closest location on earth from the Sun. Equator gets the space that is nearest to other areas such as the south and north poles. Thus, the lower rays and fewer heat enter the places far from the equator. Due to the tilting of the Earth's axis and earth form the heat obtained in locations far away from this equator is less.
