Why is there more carbon dioxide in exhaled air than in inhaled air?

Sagot :

Dear Aj123,

The Oxygen that we breathe in is absorbed into the blood (by the lungs) and is distributed to the different parts of the body. When the Oxygen is absorbed, the Carbon Dioxide is removed from the blood and goes into the lungs then we breathe it out.

Hope I helped! c:

The air we inhale is composed by Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon and other gases such as Carbon Dioxide. These gases are used by the body for cellular respiration and other uses and Carbon Dioxide is the product of their uses.
