Physical communication is a type of non-verbal communication
which involves bodily gestures, such as, smiling, winking, giving a thumbs up
and other bodily gestures. It is the most used non-verbal communication as well
as common in social conversations.
Through these gestures, one can convey their intent, whether
they are communicating to a group or an individual. These however, without
verbal communication, may be easily misunderstood. A person who avoids eye
contact could be interpreted as being guilty, or aloof, or even snobbish. This
could apply to postures as well, such as slouching, standing straight or
leaning on a wall.
