characteristics that all humans, whales, and bats are in common, that is---
they're all considered as MAMMALS whereby they all feed their young
through their mammary glands, these creatures belong to one ancestral group because of their homologous structure. The wings of bats, cat's legs,and similar bone structures that appear in animals like whales, are considered to be homologous to humans.
