i am a 2 digit number. my tens digit is 3 more than my ones digit and the sum of my digits is 13. what number am i?

Sagot :

Let x= ones digit
x+3= tens digit

Equation:
x+x+3=13
combine them
2x+3=13
2x+3-3=13-3
2x=10
2x ÷ 2=10÷2

x=5
x+3=8
the answer is 85
8+5=13

whatever you do in the left side or right side... you must do it on the other side
