The function:
Allows us to direct light through the hole in the stage and make us able to illuminate or light up the specimen even without the use of an electricity. It is used to reflect rays of light in the microscope. It sends light to the specimen in the microscope.
Where is it located?
It can be found on the lower end of the arm. It is composed of a plane mirror and a concave mirror.
