Sagot :

How to Be a Good Internet Citizen

Title I. Introduction

A. How can we be responsible and good internet citizens? We people sometimes fight over things we think are rude and inadequate. We say bad things, post disrespectful things, and even hurt others.

B. We sometimes don't know what we are saying and type what we think. We often don't respect others' opinions and bash others.

C. But there are also good things that we can do to not hurt other people, like being a good citizen. Here are some examples of how to be a good internet citizen:

II. Body

A. Think before you type.

i. What we are saying can be helpful and kind or hurtful and harsh. We have no control over how other people act, what they say or do, or what and how they think or feel.

ii. Some people are not open-minded and can say rude things to you. Your words that are opposite from their opinion can make them mad.

iii. We should think before we type our opinions. Some people may misunderstand what you are saying and get mad.

B. Respect other opinions.

i. Respecting other opinions is the most important thing to do. Tell what you feel and your belief but listen to the other people explain their point of view.

ii. Everyone has a unique set of life experiences that cause them to think and perceive things in a particular way.

iii. While you're listening to the other person explain their point of view, keep in mind that just because you understand where they're coming from and why they think the way they do, it doesn't mean you have to agree with them or concede defeat to them.

C. Avoid arguments.

i. Everyone has the right to their own opinion, no matter what. So, if you find yourself on the verge of a disagreement on social media or another online forum, It's better to don't say anything.

ii. Ignore any attempts that can draw you into an argument, don't bother about what other people think or about winning a debate.

iii. You can't win an online debate. People can be much more aggressive on the internet than in person, and you may be very upset by how they react. So it's best to avoid arguments before it's too late and lose your patience.

III. Conclusion

A. There are many ways to be a good internet citizen. Misunderstanding is the number one thing that makes you fight on the internet.

B. We have our opinion, and we should respect others if we want to have also respect.

C. We should spread love and not hate among the others. Watch our tone and words. It might hurt others' feelings that can lead to an argument.

Hope it helps
