The purpose of school is to give an elementary understanding of diverse subjects to students who will eventually pick up more information on any one or few of them in pursuit of a career. Going into more detail with the scientific method in public schools would not only be superfluous and unbalanced considering other school subjects, but would waste the time of students with no interest in the topic (which at least here is the majority). The basics school provides in my experience are enough imo (my own opinion)

What is the problem with school?

Sagot :

The problem with school I see is more or less what you. I mean sure it's important to give basic knowledge and emphasize students to look into it. Still most students don't do that i think they have to learn what they are told without much thinking. Schools focus too much on the knowledge and not about how you use it or what dk with it and this to think for yourself. Childhood is often determined due certain factors. And those kids who are used to think about stuff due family, puzzles, mystery games etc. have no problem to do so or at least try to challenge the tasks they are given. But students who hadn't access to such things or were no interested enough are more likely to struggle later on and don't see school at its purpose it gives. They are only asking "Why do I even learn this" and give up. And those people are more likely not to think about the problems or other stuff they are facing by learning not to be interested or take everything they encounter as fact when not even deny real facts and studies. School should be rather seen as place to learn how you learn and not only learn stuff that are considered as basic knowledge or granted so they can really think about what should be "right" or notㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
