Students are not allowed to chew gum in my class. While some student think that I am just being mean, there ar many good reasons for this rule. Firs some irresponsible students make messe. with their gum. They may leave it on th bottoms of desks, drop it on the floor, or pu it on other people's property. Anothe reason why I do not allow students to chev gum is because it is a distraction. Whet they can chew gum, students are more focus on having it. popping it, chewing it and snapping it than in listening, writing, reading, and learning. Therefore I do not allow students to chew gum in my class.
