a.) Present progressive tense indicates that the action is in progress, or continuing action.
b) It can also suggest that an action is going to happen in the future
c) Because present progressive tense is either in the present or future, it usually modified by adverbs of time.
HOW IT IS FORMED:
be-verbs (in present tense) + present participle of the verb (-ing form of the verb)
The be-verbs in present tense are: am, is, are
Example:
am + expecting
To use in a sentence:
I am expecting that my answer will help you.
Present progressive in the future:
are + leaving
To use in a sentence:
We are leaving for Baguio City in two hours.
